So am I the only person that thinks he has great musical ideas, but often fails to flesh them out enough due to the short length of the tracks?. We get these tracks that kind of just end very quickly instead of revisiting any earlier parts. That sort of formula works for music that goes a lot of places, but we often get one quick melodic idea followed by an outro without much time to really let it sink in. He's actually improved upon this compared to his older work, though.

That being said, I still like a lot of what is going on during this album.

Had to bump this down to a 4.

Another listen made me realize I was just in love with a couple of songs and the rest just had me waiting for those couple of songs

That's what I like about his music, StableReference. He doesn't draw out musical ideas to unnecessary lengths. He understands that you don't need to repeat a chorus forty god damn times in a song, makes you want to listen more. If you want to hear the "melodic idea" again, listen to it again.

I just wish each song was as powerful as Fool, Grid, Queen

I politely disagree sir

My order would go:

Fool > Grid > Queen > All Along > No Good > I Decline > Longpig > Too Bright > My Body > Don't Let Them In > I'm a Mother

Wasn't expecting this album to be so good, could be a 4.5 upon further listens
