very excited to listen to this even though I didn't enjoy the full length. ground dweller and snow sessions(I think) was great

Ground dweller was so bland to me and over the top somehow simultaneously. I literally can't remember a single song besides the one with a music video after several listens. Unimagine I can't get enough of and love every song.

Is this really a 4.5? All their other stuff imo is pretty mediocre
|
| |
i like ground dweller a lot more
|
| |
hows this compared to their last lp?
|
| |
it's got better production but the songwritting is significantly worse
edit: wait hold up i thought this was unimagine for a sec haha never listened to this ep
|
| |
lol alright well this average seems ridiculously high. I guess I might try a track or 2 out

are you guys high this sucks
|

honestly the musicianship from these guys is quite good. but why do they insist on that top 40 maroon5/onerepublic sound? I'd move this band toward prog and forget the teen beat mainstream schtick. pass the queso please

The songwriting has only improved. Ground dweller just wasn't very good imo

This is amazing. They manage to make the acoustic renditions so lively and creative. This band just really hits the feels.

Agreed hard. Band is perfect, ignoring Ground Dweller tho

Ground Dweller was really damn good for a debut but they've definitely moved away from that generic post-hardcore sound. They were always kind of unique though, with the vocals and the little electronic effects they put in the album

I will admit that it was pretty off the wall and different for rise, but the problem was that it wasn't memorable to me. I swear I jammed it 4 or 5 time and can only remember one song distinctly and the intro of another. I wasn't even sure I wanted to bother with Unimagine, but when I did every second of it got ingrained in me head.
