I'm sorta glad that the 3rd act of Halo 2 got cut out because by the time the game ends you are so done with it. Although it would be interesting to see the direction of Halo 3 if that didn't happen.

i always think it's weird when i see someone put 3 before 1. not trying to argue that one is like objectively better or anything, i just thought it'd be the general consensus. the thing i like about one is the ambiguity to it. i like how the covenant is this unstoppable, seemingly anonymous force. and then they started to flesh them out more in later games and that mystery and intrigue was ruined for me.
also: the jackals were so much cooler with their helmets on, before i knew how ugly they looked underneath.

Halo 3's campaign is oustanding! "The Covenant" is the best mission out of the whole series in my opinion.

The Library is a lot easier than people make it out to be, even on legendary. If you have an assault rifle and a Shotgun then you basically wreck house until the flood with rocket launchers spoil all the fun.

Glad they didn't come back in halo 4, would've made games 1-3 pointless. Also the Prometheans were a nice change of pace.
