Listening through right now, at 17:35 in 4.18 I'm pretty sure the apocalypse happens.
It has been a fantastic year for it; I think it's contributing towards BM quickly becoming my favourite genre of music. Haven't listened to the new Spectral Lore record enough yet, but getting round to it.
Autumn comes round here in England in just less than 2 weeks, gonna be a bleak one.

Yeah man this is AOTY for as of now (New Godflesh may beat this but idk) and get on Spectral Lore ASAP

I know it's amazing, as I listened to it last week, but my internet has been spazzing something fierce so I haven't been able to buy it/listen to it again. Might do it now, actually, while it's working...

Ohhh I didn't see the key word "enough" there when I read the comment, my bad haha
Just glanced over your ratings, and I'm sure you've already heard them, but I definitely recommend Saor's 'Aura' and Hoth's 'Oathbreaker' for more 2014 bm if you haven't listened to them

@osmark, I've got a metric fuckton of uni work to do the next 4-5 days, but I should manage to have it up in a weeks time. Will let you know when I do

Haven't listened to Oathbreaker yet, it's been on my 'to-listen' list for a while now but I just haven't
gotten round to it.
Aura's a strange one, I absolutely adored Roots but have only listened to Aura once or twice since it came
out. Just didn't immediately grab me for some reason, though when it was released I was pretty apathetic
towards everything so maybe that had something to do with it.
(EDIT: Holy shitballs. I reckon that had EVERYTHING to do with it.)
And yeah, Spectral Lore review +1 :D

Listened to a stream a couple times and while I think the review is well written, I can't say your ok content wise because I feel you make this album out to be something more than what it is (ie. hypetrain review). I will report back.

@wiz, I wrote the review from the perspective of a longtime Darkspace fan, so I focused more on what has changed since III than the specifics of the sound, but give me plenty of criticism if you think I did it poorly. Always looking to improve my writing

Fuckin' A! Now we just need a new Sun of the Blind album.

Bookmarked, may check this out tonight.

Night is the ideal time to jam it. Turn A/C to frosty

I think the songs are structurally pretty weak. All the sections on their own rule as is to be expected, but
there's too many breaks that don't fit and transition to riffs unrelated to the previous riffs. I think
breaking up these songs into smaller songs would actually have helped, structurally these songs border on
incoherent. Still a great listen but a step back in my book.

Um, where can I buy this album? Is it available anywhere except Bandcamp right now?

I think the break-ups are exactly what Darkspace needed, as opposed to just doing the exact same thing they did last album.
PPersonally I think it flows really well, they should have just made it one song.

Haven't heard this yet, but awesome review, pos hard
