Ryan Adams is an artist I always wanted to get into but never knew where to start.

My favorite is Cold Roses. But agreed with baron that Heartbreaker/Gold are the best starting points

Thanks klap and baron, checking out Heartbreaker now and I like what I'm hearing so far.

I think the album cover is supposed to be a joke- check out the Bryan Adams Reckless cover

Took me way too long to get around to this. Solid as ever. Liking it just a touch more than Ashes & Fire.
Seeing him again in July = bestest.

After seeing him play a show on "This is 40," my respect for this guy grew a fair amount. I'm enjoying this classic rock sound revival, I think.

Really loving the Johnny Marr influence on here. Which other Ryan Adams albums have this Smiths style to them?

@Isildurs, if you like this album I suggest the album Prisoner as well as Prisoner b-sides. These are the two Ryan Adams albums I like. Not as in to his more mellow stuff personally.
