Alright man. So I'm going to start off by saying that I'm not a big fan on correcting people's grammar/punctuation because in all honesty where to place a comma is pretty damn subjective most of the time. Unless there are any insanely glaring mistakes in any of the reviews i'm looking at for you, i'm not going to point it out.
So first of all some overall stuff:
[*]I do enjoy the way that you write your reviews, you're way ahead of where I was when I was at 14 reviews. But the biggest thing that sort of made reading your reviews less enjoyable than they could have been would be your transitions between paragraphs, namely the abruptness of your conclusion on this review. I'm pretty guilty of it myself because I write the introductions and conclusions before I write the middle paragraphs. I don't want to seem patronizing because i'm sure you've heard this before, but the best way i find to at least get an initial connection between paragraphs is to take a phrase out of the previous paragraph and relate it to what i'm going to be saying during the next paragraph. Usually i end up changing the sentence a little, but the main connection stays.
[*]Also with this review there are only two songs mentioned (Disease and String). I know there are only six tracks on this record, but I think i would be able to get a better idea about what the album was like if you mentioned a few more tracks.
[*]I do enjoy the way that you compared this band to other pretty prominent bands in the scene because I never look at the recommended artists (whoops!) and it helps paint a clearer picture.
And now for the small stuff that is usually just stylistic preferences but i think they're worth discussing:
It's always been a bit of a cliche to proclaim every new emotive hardcore release as being able to 'connect'...
I guess i'm just not a fan of the phrase emotive hardcore music, because usually hardcore is innately emotive and you use it twice in this review. Also I'm confused by the quotations around connect.
Human Hands are an emotive hardcore band...
This seems a bit redundant as the entire first paragraph implies that the album you're reviewing belongs in that genre.
The mixing of the vocals is also worth noting, as they truly sound as if they were sung in the same room as the listener
Again i'm confused as to what this means. Are the vocals mixed so high that they're all you can focus on? or are they mixed/produced in such a way that they're swirling from left to right? I guess that confuses me lol

Okay that turned out a little longer than i thought it was going to, But i guess that this comment is here to say that this is a pretty good review. You seem to have a keen grasp on what you are trying to say throughout your reviews. My biggest 'concern' (man that just makes me sound stupid) is that in the three reviews I looked at (This, The New Found Intrest in Connecticut, and SCHNTZL) you go on at length about restraint, makes certain sections of each review seem eerily similar at times. I also find it difficult to not plagiarize myself when writing new reviews because there are certain phrases I think sound really cool and I want to make sure everyone sees how cool i can write lol. But yeah. This is a pretty good review, but since this one took longer than i thought and really didn't seem to provide all that much tangible differences, i'm probably only going to comment on maybe one more review. Keep up the good work man!

Plus i'm a pretty big believer that there is definitely more than one way to write a review, and just because I think the way that I write them is the best way to do it, doesn't mean it is. okay that's it for now, just wanted to make sure it didn't sound like I thought I knew everything or whatever.
