Anyways, I checked out some of her older discography since I was updating band info and I was enjoying the older stuff (from like, two months ago lol) more than this album. She did do something different on this one that kinda puts me off.

I call lo-fi pretentious because the idea of having a genre that boasts that it can be deep and meaningful behind shit quality (Mixing, instrumentals, that jazz) is really offputting to me.
When you make your music bad on purpose it doesn't really feel like youre trying to make a statement on art or music but really just stroking a big ego schlong. If that makes sense. Im not saying its a bad genre, as there is some music in here that sounds good in certain aspects. But as a whole its really nothing I want to get behind.
so what you are actually saying is that you just dont know anything about lo-fi music
