Idk. 3.5 is a positive score. I'm redoing my ratings, trying to avoid 4 and 4.5 being my go to score every time I enjoy an album, but I may still be rating too harshly. Work in progress. Either way, this is a great album.

I haven't decided how to compare this to Adultery. Adultery is a 5 in my book. I think this album has some higher highs than Adultery, but some songs, like Scarlett Fever, while not bad, are fairly forgettable. Especially when you compare it to other staples in their discography.
But goddamn, End of the Road has to be the coolest song they've ever written.

I think these guys have evolved into a style that is pretty well their own, even though Mr. Bungle is obviously their biggest influence, I don't think they deserved to be constantly compared. Then again being compared to Mr. B is like the highest compliment so I guess it's not a huge deal.

It's a few steps down from Mr. Bungle in terms of weirdness, but a few steps up in terms of metalness. Moar riffs here.

Yeah, these guys are a metal band at heart. Mr. Bungle could metal out, but they weren't metal at their core.

It's very good, but not half as cool as Adultery. Around 3.7 in my book. They're gonna be doing a follow-up in 2015, like the hidden track teases, I'll definitely be looking out for it
