Nice review as always, have a pos. Never got around to jamming this one yet for reasons unknown.

Murders In The Rue Morgue is one of their best songs imo

Mate I believe the debut flows better start to finish, furthermore the unpolished production is more befitting Paul’s raspy vocals. There are a couple of tracks in this release that I could skip without feeling I missed something…that could never be a five for me.

Btw the title track is underrated and should feature more in their live playlist.

Nice to see you back to reviewing Explo, and with a really good one too, definitely deserving of a pos. I just have one small nitpick:

"But what about Iron Maiden, the band who had two vocalists, two drummers, and three guitarists between their first four full-length albums? How would their earlier works manage to stack up to their more well-known material? And most of all, could their 1981 album, Killers, trump the infamous sophomore slump?

Fortunately for the fans, the answer to those questions was yes."

Only the last question can really be answered with a yes.
