OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Will listen hard.
The only thing that needs to die is Riffoclock.
|
| |
what a tasteless album title
|
| |
the music more than makes up for it obviously. another classic thrash album that took sputnikmusic by storm
thrash like it's 1994 again
|
| |
yea its like every solid thrash record comes out like the past few overkill and testament records get rated just as high as the classics its dumb
i mean phantom antichrist is rated higher than fuckin endless pain
|
| |
lol
i mean the most recent albums by some of these ancient bands are not awful, they're 'only' mind-numbingly inoffensive and forgettable. their only job seems to be to tick the right boxes rather than to produce music from the heart
i don't understand why anyone would listen to a modern thrash metal record (even if done right) when there's a shit ton of old releases left unexplored
|
| |
a lot of people on sputnik are scared of old music, think its cos most people on here are 15 but idk even then i dug zeppelin and shit not sure why a lot of retards refuse to listen to anything pre the bends
and yea this will have more votes than victims of deception in a week im kinda used to it nowadays tho, just expect the worst of the userbase and u'll never be disappointed
|
| |
yeah I jam Horrorscope and all, but most of this new thrash seems silly.
|
| |
now that you mention it, heathen is one of the very few bands that i'd like to see a new record by. damn remember when evolution of chaos came out and we were thrashing to it like there was no tomorrow
that is a good example of a well-done modern thrash record that retains some identity
|
| |
yup was a great record, i think the main reason it was so gd tho was cos they didnt fatigue us with a shit load of average records like most big thrash bands did after their heyday, it was nice just to hear dave whites vocals again
but yea i rarely get excited for any modern thrash record, pretty much given up hope with megadeth after the fluke that was endgame. aspid, anacrusis and coroner are the only ones i'd legit get excited for
|
| |
Whatever happened to Nardi's stuff after Anacrusis died? He had all these good demos.
|
| |
think hes releasing them under his own name, i'm not rly sure tbh its a bit of a cluster fuck
|
| |
i still want a new toxik record dunno bout you guys
|
| |
yea that too
nice dig dude what a classic
|
| |
yeah man such a pleasant album, dig it hard
|
| |
the red telephone is a contender for my fav song ever
|
| |
a house is not a motel was the immediate standout for me but i gotta jam it more
|
| |
^yeah that one rocks hardest, though I tend to prefer the more orchestrated ones now.
|
| |
yea same, you set the scene is beyond words

Maybe it's my age haha I remember buying most of the shit you guys consider "classics" when they were released. Back then it was the Zeppelin and Sabbath fans bitching just as hard about the same things :D
