This album is more focused and less repetitive than VIA. At first I wasn't digging it but while they didn't exactly progress to a new level or anything they did manage to take all the good things they had going and focus/develop them.

Enjoyed this album a whole lot! However, it felt too short to me and left me wanting more.

I really liked Via when it came out.

Then 3 years passed and it just wasn't fun anymore. I have no idea what to expect, probably something meh. I thought Vahle was really cheesy as hell. I couldn't get into that song and I didn't dig it as a single.

This is pretty solid stuff. "Erased" is my favorite song on the album. I was pretty surprised at how natural the transitions are between the soft atmospherics and heavy sections in that one, and I'm definitely hoping that becomes the template for these guys in the future.

I think that this album is everything that I was waiting for and then some. What makes their music so amazing is the little intricacies, the things that make it musical instead of just ruthless chugging. They make truly beautiful music which is why they are my favorite band.
