tbh i never found him especially funny, but that's probably just because I'm a lot younger than the
people who grew up with his 80s and 90s parodies, and the whole novelty of parodying songs has been
rammed into the ground these days.

"Don't know if that's because the quality of their work actually decreases or if people's perceptions of those parodies subconsciously changes as they become accustomed to it."

It's cool fish that makes it even more funny that you brought that point up.

thank god

Never found this guy that funny apart from the odd track. Much like Tenacious D.
Parodists tend to become parodies of themselves after a while. Don't know if that's because the
quality of their work actually decreases or if people's perceptions of those parodies subconsciously
changes as they become accustomed to it.
I think the problem is you have a stick up your butt

Talk your talk, degrade my character
Your remarks are amateur, the future laughs at ya
I got much stamina, and I know my facts
I am hip-hop, I don't speak for blacks
I speak for hip-hop's preservation, and only that
Peace love unity, I'm known for that
also, i was being sarcastic, calm down

Kris I miss talking to you on here =(
the whole novelty of parodying songs has been
rammed into the ground these days.
Well considering he started it, he can't really be ramming it into the ground since that's all he
does.
|
| |
I guess it's not as funny when you're looking for something to parody
|
| |
because im taaaackyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
|
| |
I'll be honest. Weird Al has never been someone I can just sit down and jam, but I respect him. I used to rock out to Tenacious D's first album though.
