Just because something's random and spontaneous doesn't necessarily make it better than something focused and emotionally present

This is easily the most disappointing Opeth album of all time for me. Half of this album is boring;
"The Lotus Eater" and "Porcelain Heart" are among the shittiest songs Åkerfeldt has ever written.
"Burden" is a standout gem and the bonus material on the DVD rules, but few things would
disappoint me more than this truly being Opeth's last metal album.
