"By middle we mean 11-15, right, because those suck ass."

...?

"Friendly Fire," "Take a Bullet," and "Jenny" are some of the best on the album. 5-10 is the weak section of the album, but even those tracks aren't bad. Though the chorus on "First Punch" falls completely flat.

5-10 are the best songs on the album. 11-15 are horrid.

I really dig this sound. Hawkins is a kickass vocalist. Kinda bummed out by the second half, though. Pales in comparison to the supercharged first half.

Yeah. Everything until Track 11 is awesome.

I'm halfway done with my revamped review for this.

"First Punch" is the worst song on the album, and "Friendly Fire" is easily among the top 3-5.

I feel the opposite. "Here's to the Heartache" and "Friendly Fire" are my least favorite songs on the album.

"The Matthew Effect" is my favorite track though. So excited to see them live again in a couple months

Another band like Fair To Midland who can put 15+ songs on an album and NONE of them are weak. I have a feeling this is gonna get ranked high for me this year.

Ugh it's mostly pretty boring. I enjoyed the first half of few not fleeting back in the day but overall I much preferred their earlier EP and demo stuff, just more interesting

Really like "Christ Copyright", what a clusterfuck of a rock song. Lol...it's like a rock song for A.D.D. people, it's main riff includes fucking rapid synths, a screaming sound like a bald eagle, and then something that sounds like a plane falling from the sky. New workout song found!

I'm only up to track 5 so far, but the choruses so far are jarringly bland compared to the promising bits that lead up to them. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Yeah I actually like the verses more than the choruses for most of these songs. But they wrote these songs for the live shows and it really pays off with all the electronic components and whatnot

Not really, but you're probably not a fan of the genre anyways if that's your critique lol. The instrumentation here is above par for your typical alt rock act

I think instrumentally its pretty mediocre and the production makes that even worse
