I'm more interested in what direction PT'd take but yeah new No-Man would be great. The more "organic"
sound of their last two albums was pretty cool. His solo career is fucking awesome though

Yeah, The Raven was his best effort so far. I read he's planning on recording a new solo record this summer so it's gonna take a while before he considers going back to PT or No-Man. Bummer...

Doesn't look like this has got much love yet. In this day and age, not releasing a stream of your album is like shooting yourself in the foot, nobody buys music blind

Agreed. Even though he has a video for the song Warm Up Man Forever, it doesn't help too much. The record should have made some streaming available, at least a couple of songs...
Thanks Greg.

It is up on Spotify, though, where I'm listening to it right now.
Haven't really listened to No-man stuff in many years, but I did use to like it. The first listen here
isn't really invoking any emotions from me. This is pleasant sounding as usual from Bowness, but
I can't really grip to much here. Relaxing music for the right setting, but perhaps too subdued for its
own good.

Well, it is an album that requiers a certain mood to really get under your skin. I
Like I said, I wasn't that impressed at first either, yet I've been digging it a lot lately. Give it some time

I really need to hear this.
No-man were rather influential on me some years back, helping to point my musical taste in a different direction.

An album that grows on you. The review is right on the money. Maybe not as good as No Man's 'Returning Jesus, Together We're Stranger or Schoolyard Ghosts' but a damn fine record none the less.

Bumping this; it's a shame I had forgotten this record
There's something completely sincere and heartfelt about the way Bowness sings, as if he was whispering to you some secret poem. There's a beautiful sense of intimacy, in this record, especially.

Yeah, I love the way Bowness sings, it reminds me of a male version of Nico+Annie Lennox. Album has its brilliant moments for sure, but it drags sometimes and it never really explodes. Waterfoot rules hard.
PS: Daaaamn, 8 year bump jeez...
