Been a 7D fan since 1998, from Atlanta, seen them upwards of 15 times, and somehow I just discovered this. My college roommate at UGA and I are in the front row on the double wide acoustic dvd. LOVE ME SOME SEVENDUST.
With that being said, I really, really liked about half of the songs, but some just don't have the right tempo and feel, with Crucified being the most obvious. But when one of your all time favorite bands puts out new music, you listen and you listen hard. 3/5

@ktstein - I see where you're coming from with your rating. Quite honestly, I've slowly changed my outlook on this album. I don't think I'll downgrade my rating for it anytime soon, but a 4.5 for this may have been a bit exaggerated. The fact that they only covered songs from Lowery's time with the band was a bit oft-putting to me. Songs such as "Clueless", "Hope", "Ugly", "Desertion", "Never", and, even being from Lowery's time with the band, "Leech" (which was a B-side for the band, featured only on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack, a beautiful song, and one that would translate perfectly to an acoustic recording) would have been excellent choices. I still highly enjoy this record, and I highly-anticipate a follow-up to it. Songs like "Bonfire", "Trust" and "Black" make this album a treat ("Bonfire" would have been a fantastic single, I still desire seeing Sevendust gain much more mainstream recognition than they ever had, I'm always stunned in recalling how none of the tracks from Animosity in particular made it on the charts, especially with singles like "Live Again" and "Angel's Son").
