"Time Stands Still" is my jam from this. Album as a whole is meh though

Last I checked I couldn't get into this one.

I've only heard Time Stand Still from this one, I think it's a pretty solid upbeat Rush song. Is it just not indicative of the rest of the album?

My second worst Rush.

This is still better than almost everything that came after

I like Presto and Counterparts more.

Counterparts and Clockwork Angels are the only albums after this that i'd put above it

Needed to hear this a couple of times to appreciate it, worth it though. Definitely better than Presto, Test for Echo and possibly Vapor Trails as well.

Great review, don't agree with the score, I really enjoy hold your fire, way less progressive but still solid.

I love this album. One of my Rush favorites. I love the sound, the writing, the drumming...
And how someone can talk about this album and not mention ''Lock and Key'' baffles me too, such a wonderful song.

Uhm, I really like this record, but I don't know quite why, it has je ne c'est quoi.
Time Stands Still is a total fucking jam. I like the synth era, and this, while not as great as Grace Under Pressure, has some odd charm
to it.
