Jamie's vocals on Gary, Indiana are so very, very brilliant.

Forgot how great this album was - he really did pull the 'two different albums' thing really well here.

New album out in two days. A lot of competition from Julien Baker, The Used, Weezer, Kelly Clarkson etc out same day

I find this album very upsetting. On one hand, you have a obviously very talented man who can go from one end of the spectrum to another without breaking a sweat, while writting very good songs, all on his own...

But then at certain moments - especially on the 2nd disc - when his off-key and strained vocals totally kill whatever's going on at that moment musically. I don't know how those moments sneaked in there, but they're cringy as fuck.

Homeboy did a Panopticon like half a decade before Panopticon. Shit holds up so well, both sides
