Really digging this album so far. Much better than the last one, though that was not difficult. A lot of cohesion in here, while still having some great and catchy more immediate progressive house songs. I don’t think simplicity is an issue since some of the music is truly accomplished, plus the album works surprisingly well for a double disc. I think this might be his best work, but it’s too soon.
That said, I think the Nine Inch Nails remix and the last song, Seeya are not on par with the rest, but maybe they grow on me.

Terrors in my Head is a motherfucking masterpiece. I think this might be the album that I've been waiting for Joel to release for a very long time. I could definitely see myself eventually bumping it up to a 5.
Edit: wanted to throw in how GENIUS I think it is that Avaritia and Gula (first and last tracks of 1st disc) are tied together flawlessly

^ Yep. I sort of gave up on him after 4X4=12. Not that it was an awful album, but it wasn't anywhere close to the level of RAT; just shallow, emotionless electro house (to me). But yes, I too had a feeling that he was going to drop something incredible sometime.
My friend, he dropped something incredible.

I'd say this is the second best thing he's ever done. Not sure if I'm ready to compare it to RAT yet tho.

Review Porter Robinson's album 'Worlds' when it comes out on August 12th :D

So I wasn't much of a fan of the tracks he had released when I heard them individually but I'll be damned if they don't sound a hell of a lot better within the context of the album

I like the ones that show something different. But the electro house ones sound exactly alike.
