But I feel like Justin Bieber is basically generic death metal. What Never Shout Never is doing seems much more... progressive. The multiple movements and insane time signatures is much more interesting. Even if Just Bieber is seen as the godfather of modern death metal, he's become too generic for his own good.

You can also try the latter half of Nicki Minaj's extended career, although it's not that acessible because of the experimentation she works with on those albums. Even die-hard fans find it pretty difficult to get into her career's experimental side but yeah, if you crank a lot of early JB as well as some Lady Gaga EP's you'll be ready for Minaj.

yeah, I know what you were going for, but it's proper to use quotation marks so 'band' instead of (band). Parentheses and the words between them should be able to be removed from a sentence and it should still make sense.
