i will say this: this kind of fails as an album. it sounds more like an ep than anything, very scatterbrained, but i still love the songs. easier to appreciate if you consider it a collection of songs and forget about the concept altogether

What's weird about this album is that while Black Thought gets songwriting credits on this album, ?uestlove has NONE. Which makes me wonder whether the idea of the album was more Black Thought's than ?uestlove. It actually would explain why the music, for the most part, sounds so... minimal.
