Instead of negging the hell out of my review how about you give me some actual writing advice? You can't expect me to grow as a writer if you don't give me any tips. If you hate the review so much, how about instead of insulting me you throw me some tips so maybe I can try again and maybe we won't have to look at this one anymore?

I'm not saying all the comments made me feel "bullied," btw I appreciate your advice @TheMoreira, it's just not very helpful to me as a writer when people tell me I have no writing skills. Instead of pointing that out, you can help me improve on them. If this website is full of people who poke fun at the ones who struggle instead of helping them, maybe I should just step away from this whole scene.

Who exactly has told you that you don't have writing skills? This review was terrible because it wasn't actually a music review inasmuch as you didn't talk about the music on the album.

You want advice? LISTEN to the MUSIC. Analyze the MUSIC. LISTEN to the MUSIC again! Form an opinion about the MUSIC. Then and only then write about the MUSIC. Keep skipping the steps before you start writing and you're just gonna get slagged again.

Nah man k i was a bit harsh on you and i'm sorry for that. It just hit me like someone should tell it like it is while putting out some advice, i might have not done that properly. But all of this just makes me want to check some future work from you, i'd be glad to testify some evolution.



Don't step away, people around here will be willing to give you a proper opinion. This one review was just really off i believe. Use that proofread thread too, that's a very good bet for a professional opinion, one that you might find more educated and objective, and not take to heart as well.

How can this get anything above a 3.5? Maybe it's just me, but all I've seen is a bunch of noodling and breakdowns. Don't

get me wrong, I enjoy the occasional playthrough because some parts do strike some emotions (namely anger from the

breakdowns and dissonance), but there's a severe lack of emotion and purpose imo. They're great guitarists, and I

actually love the vocalist, but I just wish I'd see a more cohesive progressive piece of work over just breakdowns and

noodles.

I wouldn't go that far. But it has frequent dull moments littered with delectable fragments of sound that if pieced together properly could amount to something more interesting.
