In my opinion, it is a FACT that this review is really terrible. I bet you pat yourself on the back for turning in edgy essays because they are SO meta and nonconforming. The repetition is a concern, but Agalloch's always been a band founded on repetition. The worst traits to this album are how all these tricks have been played before and far better and how the structure of the album itself is a complete mess. You chose the lowest hanging fruit and ran with it. It's not clever or funny. The album's barely been out for half a day. Your review clearly shows that. You're just begging for attention.

Thanks for the comment. However, please read my first comment said to Odal, as it applies to yours as well.
And secondly- even if repetition was my sole reason for giving this a 2.5 (it wasn't, as the review demonstrates), why does that invalidate my opinion? Maybe the repetition was so disconcerting that it spoiled all the other elements of the record, which were solid. Again- that is an opinion. You may not agree, but that does not mean the review is bad. Indeed, it means the review is honest, which is what all reviews should strive for. Expansion, in that case, would be disingenuous.

I'm not saying your opinion isn't valid. Repetition is terrible to some people. but you really don't expand on other things about this people. People want more out of a review than just a "joke" about how it's repetitious. People want to know what the music is like, we get it's repetitious but WHAT ELSE.
