I think I enjoy Hades Rise by these guys a bit more, but that doesn't take away the importance of this album.
I've always thought that this band is sometimes overlooked in the thrash cannon. This album has a lot of character and power. Caged Wrath and Wretched Face of Evil are awesome.

Listening to this again, there's not a single song that even comes close to ''mediocre'' or ''filler'' here. Lots of variety and beefy riffs on this album.

This album might be the best example of black thrash out there. The trill filled riffs all over the place is what makes this my favorite from them. They did it some in following releases, but not to the extent of this one. Just thinking about this album makes me want to crack a beer and thrash around my house.

Man this and Hades Rise are the only ones I've listened to so far but I was really sleeping on this band bad. Someone needs to review Hades. Maybe I'll do it. Both rule. Need to jam the rest of the discography
