Yeah Snide. The Acacia Strain is on Rise after a fallout with Prosthetic. (see Money For Nothing EP)

Death is The Only Mortal(LP), Servant In The Place of Truth(single) and Above/Below(EP) are all Rise.

No idea, all I know is they shook hands afterwards.

But I feel like scum for discussing this.

I didn't say they all sounded the same guys haha! I mean the bands that DO sound the same I refer to as rise core eg; Memphis May Fire, Woe, Is Me, For All Those Sleeping, etc etc

For All Those Sleeping sound nothing like MMF, oh lawd.

I just don't like the term "Rise-core" because it's actually hard to find multiple bands on Rise that sound similar... now across multiple labels, yeah. Myka, Relocate, Fit For A King, etc.... THEY all sound like MMF, but none are on Rise.

I think when people say "rise-core" they're unfairly generalizing all metalcore with heavy screamed vocals, high pitched clean vocals, breakdowns and downtuned guitars.

Although I know that wasn't your intent.

I didn't mean to generalize at all ahhhhh I just meant this isn't as bad as some stuff that is full of breakdowns and generic song structures etc

I just used the word rise core to describe that type of music, it's a habit I guess

I very don't like this album, I never found what was so special about them anyways.

Risecore became a term a while back cause they signed a shit load of the same sounding bands (and the albums were all produced in the same way/sound) one after another for a few years, since then they've diversified their roster some but god damn we all know what jaspvr is trying to say and he's right
