Yeah man, Southern Rock Opera, Decoration Day, and Dirty South are all classic jams

Intro track on Southern Rock Opera is fucking fantastic, plus the track after it but I haven't ever gone the whole way through yet

My fave jam on Southern Rock Opera is 72 (This Highways Mean). Thats a classic Mike Cooley jam.

Seriously, if you like these guys you gotta check Santeria - Year of the Knife (whole thing's in HQ on a YouTube vid) which is ridiculously good mellow southern rock and Mother Tongue - Mother Tongue which is a blues-rock type thing but pretty unique. Both of those are 4.5-5.

will jam those dude, just been on a metal only kick until this dropped and I had to take a break. One of my favorite bands.

Not much metal in those albums but they're still awesome, don't be put off if Santeria seems a bit straightforward at first, there's a whole lot more to it
