"Sonny “Skrillex” Moore has yet to release a studio album."

two things:

-I don't think you need to hyperlink here seeing as there is already a direct link to Skrillex's artist page at the top.

-While this is his debut LP, that does not make it his "debut album", EPs are albums too.

pretty good review actually. You don't make much of a case for it and I think you're reaching quite a bit, but it's a nice review.

Anyway, most of this sucks. Some of it doesn't, but most of it does. I could see myself going as high as a 3 for this, probably more likely to be a 2-2.5

I do what I can with whatever paltry amounts of cultural influence I can scrounge together, Mr. Royal.

Perhaps I have reached that "electronic music snob" point (which I am not), but this doesn't do

anything to me at all. It's not because I "hate" it or "loathe" it, or because I have some kind of

prejudice toward mainstream producers or anything. I LOVE good pop music.

I just don't think it's any interesting. Or memorable. Or groundbreaking. At the very most

'Fire Away' is half-decent from what I remember. As I said in another thread, I will always

recognize that Skrillex was one of few producers that got me into electronic music real fast with

the Scary Monsters, and I wish he succeeded to evolve, but (and I hate saying such things)

this is just... not good... not intense for me...

Electronic music has such a great culture IMO but more often than not (at least where I live in

Canada/Quebec), when I tell people that I love and live by it, most people will associate it with

albums like this and "trends" like brostep/EDM whatever, and won't take me seriously. And I'm tired

of this hahaha!

However, this is a good review so I will pos as well! ;)
