So, this is bad, eh? That's a bummer. I was kind of hoping he (the vocalist) would go on to be in something awesome. He was pretty much the only redeeming thing from Woe, Is Me.

His vocals are atrociously overproduced, the dude is Jonny Craig through a computer minus the talent

Oh, really? I don't think I have heard much of Jonny Craig's stuff, besides maybe a few DGD songs. I am not sure if that stuff I have heard is from when he was in the band, tho.

you listen to modern post-hardcore and you haven't heard a full DGD album?

No wonder you can stand Woe Is Me

I didn't say I could stand Woe Is Me. I just said he was the only good thing from them.

And I wasn't that impressed with anything I have heard from DGD, either, but whateves.

DGD is the best ! I have to disagree with the reviewer on the opinion that Carters vocal melodies are unmemorable. I think they are quite catchy, and I don't believe this is "more of the same".. Issues has a pretty unique sound whether you like it or not. That being said, there are a few catchy songs, but the rest is pretty blah.

He may sound good live but that doesn't change the fact that his vocals are beyond overproduced on this album

It's almost listenable but it gets so stale after like 7 songs like really I need to sit through 5 more tracks of the same guitar riff and shitty vocal melody and repetitive jr. high lyrics
