It just reminds me of all the other okay indie bands nowadays, not much really sticks out imo. It's somewhere in the middle not good, not bad just average.

nothing new but the execution is perfect. they've nailed down the melodies, the electronics, the vocals, the chemistry between the sounds
it's such a fun album that I really don't care how traditional it is

^^^^ feel the exact same way. they're doing nothing new, but they're doing it much better than anyone else.

If ever there was a band that no-one could accuse of becoming stagnant, it would be English indie act Bombay Bicycle Club. The quartet's 4th LP 'So Long, See You Tomorrow' continues their bold ride of styles & sounds, without forsaking their accessibly hooky melodies. Self-produced by front-man Jack Steadman, there are some interesting world music influences apparent here, as vibrant electronics are pushed to the fore. It's yet another front-loaded LP by BBC, but since the layers of percussion & synths lend the album strong replay value, it may just be their best yet. Recommended Tracks: Luna, Overdone, It's Alright Now & Home By Now.

This is miles better than their last album. This has so much more variety in the instrumentation, and doesn't sound boring after a few songs. The world music influences are a wonderful touch, and gives the album a sense of much needed personality amongst the myriad of other indie bands.
