Sorry. No dice grandma. If you were as acute as I am to the finite system of genre labelling then you wouldn't say that.

I'm guessing this Silverstein CD is roughly 35 minutes long if it's only 10 tracks and the ones I have are from 3-4 minutes. If you've listened to it thousands (plural thousand mind you) that means the least amount of times you could have listened to it was 2000 times. Therefore you claim you have spent 70000 minutes of your life listening to this CD when it probably only deserves 15 of them. Also, I assume it took 5 minutes for your n00b mungass to figure out how to make everything bold, underlined, large, and obnoxiously blue so I'll add that to the total amount of time I know you've wasted on this CD. By your claims you have spent over 30 straight days on this CD. This is a lie. You are a liar. Go home n00b.

I tested the cd out in the store, but i decided not to buy it because you couldnt hear vocals at all. Is this the same with your cd's? Maybe it was just the player
|

Haha. I'm just being a dick. Tell me though, screamo_rocks_101. What screamo bands do you actually listen to?
|
| |
your really good at it, sorry about the harsh language there, i was tryin for some intimidation, but anyways the bands, well i guess it depends on how you define the word "screamo", some people describe thursday as screamo, while others say poison the well is, which they arent, cause there metalcore, unlike FATA, who is hardcore, mostly because they had and have punk influences and in some (alot)of there songs, you can hear a punk-ish sound. Now dont take my word "punk-ish" the wrong way, i was meaning punk in-general.

I just saw Funeral Diner live last Monday on Mission Street in SF. To be honest, I prefer Coffin much much more.

IhateUsernames, Thrice is a melodic hardcore band. Sure they have some pop punk in their music but they also have some progressive and I wouldn't tell somebody who loves Thrice to a fault to go wank off to some Electric Light Orchestra. They are primarily melodic hardcore so don't try to pull that who "discrepancy" thing on me.

silverstein - a listenable band but not that special really

Silverstein is a very good band, in my opinion, shane is one of the best vocalists in this genre just because he screams and sings, and switches off alot. Your review was good, but it should be longer with some more details on the songs. smashed into peices and bleeds no more are the best on the album, i also really like when broken is easily fixed, and i found out today that kyle bishop, a former member of the black maria, does some screaming on that song. I think they paid more attention to the guitar on this album than on discovering the waterfrontThis Message Edited On 12.24.05
