Damn dude even your sound off is better than the review and even that sucked.

sorta hard to bash the music when the production is fucking ruining it the whole time
I listened to this and tbh I cant tell you if the music was good or not cos it I could barely make out anything.
and fuck off nerd

thank you Cyg, now I don't have to go rant and rave in the suicide thread.

couple of thoughts
- review isnt bad
- it is, however, completely unnecessary
- the production is supposed to be really harsh, at least i think so. yak sent me the songs to plug in drums for, and at first i did them crystal clear, on time, perfectly mixed and it sounded fucking stupid. so i went back and spazzed em out, lowered the bitrate, etc etc to make them fit the sound. it actually took a decent amount of time to do.
- if you can look past the production, these songs (the two in the middle especially) are pretty neat. there's no repeated riffs or recycled riffs or whatever you said in the review. its just a matter of hearing whats actually going on
i'll admit that when yak first sent me the songs i was confused at how harsh and sloppy they were. i had to listen to each one like 20-30 times while working on em and in that time, they began to reveal themselves

"thank you Lakes, now I don't have to go rant and rave in the suicide thread."
lakes hasn't commented on this thread yet tho. :/

yea, I have no idea why I wrote that. i must subconciously want to statutory rape him or something.

"it is, however, completely unnecessary"
How
" i had to listen to each one like 20-30 times"
No one should have to listen to something 20-30 times before they "begin" to reveal themselves
I haven't heard this other than the second song, but the review isn't bad and people negging are probably just butthurt as fuq (as NT showed)
However I don't think this is the kind of music for you based on some of your comments and what you say in the review itself
|
| |
as far as i know im just doing this one. MIDI drums have absolutely no place in skramz lol. i hope yak is able to find a real drummer
|
| |
How
it just seems a lil over the top, going out of his way to write a review for something a fellow sputniker cares a lot about,
and saying stay the fuck away from this. ratings and soundoffs are one thing...
No one should have to listen to something 20-30 times before they "begin" to reveal themselves
i know. i was just saying, i could see how people hear this as random noise, but there are actual songs beneath it

dennis, these demos are pretty darn awesome.
