Great, will do. I enjoy to start from the first album when artists are consistent in quality.

Or, alternatively, get the 12" single and you get Wey Bee as well. Stunning track, that one.

sure as hell isn't vaporwave. though i'd say actress was a least a little inspired by the loops of

daniel lopatin and his chuck person project (or possibly amongst others) on a track like 'rap', a

track that i could easily envision on a saint pepsi or luxury elite bandcamp page.

And seeing as how lopatin has absolutely nothing in common with "vaporwave"...

not exactly, but virtually every "vaporwave" affiliated artist is in debt to the loops on his sunsetcorp youtube channel and subsequent chuck person project. i'm right there with you on the irrelevance of micro-genres and false aesthetics, but you can't deny that lopatin's had a big influence on a number of artists (whether you choose to call it "vaporwave" or not).

yep, that's the layout I was talking about. Hope they sort it out.

But in all seriousness, it's a bit of a large step from absolutely gushing over every thing this guy has put out to this review. Although this might not be his best imo, the difference is not that large.

Because of the footwork reference, probably not. :p

In all seriousness though, I hope Dev would be so kind to say if there are still things that aren't up to scratch with it.
