Thanks NS. I recall you saying they were a little to soft for you. Well, I hate to tell ya, but they've probably gone softer, if anything.

Pretty fair review IMO , particularly agree with the first paragraph .

Thanks greaser. If you're new here; welcome.
And yeah, January releases do my head in. You only have to look at the last few Staff reviews here (excluding mine) where the month has provided an opportunity to explore missed LPs from the past 2 years.

The rec'd by reviewer section (and of course the review itself) makes this look intriguing. Also, dual vocals? Heck yeah!

Definitely worth a listen Ec. It's not as good as 'Phoenix' or 'Universes', but I do think it has a lot in common with them (especially those middle 3 tracks).
And yeah, both of these vocalists have really improved. They sound a fair bit like each other though, which can be both a positive & negative.

I enjoyed the soundcloud song; how did you embed that in your review?

If you like that song, you should like a lot of the album.
Soundcloud embedding is only for Staff at the moment.

bah!!
...I'll check it out.

More incentive for people to review more (& better), get promoted to staff & then take over the world.
|
| |
Its a simple 3-4 step process.

You've lost me... What is?
|
| |
1. Review more and get better!
2. Get promoted to staff!
3. Profit!
4. Take over the world!
|
| |
Actually, I should switch 3 and 4. I imagine much profit would come from taking over the world, as well as soundcloud
privileges.
