Decent album (as its Sithu), but don't like the fact it basically sounds like an extension to Invent The Universe, which IMO is his weakest effort to date. Would like to hear more sounds along those produced in 26 and Isles - he certainly has a fair few decent tracks to this effect on his Soundcloud.



Also, why does everyone keep saying `not bad, but not quite Plini', or similar? I find I cannot get into most of his stuff, and prefer Sithu hands down over him. Mandalay and 26 are where its at!

They both do pretty much the thing agreed

definitely prefer sithu to plini although i haven't heard too much plini

Plini seems to be more of a composer than a guitarist. Sithu's stuff is 'simpler' but is pretty damn good. Why not enjoy both?

yeah but with the split EP a lot of people were like "PLINI'S SIDE SHITS ALL OVER SHITU AYE'S SIDE" or vice versa. it's just kinda unnecessary in a situation where they're meant to compliment each other



in terms of their solo material, I think Plini is better on average though.

It feels like just yesterday when I first started using the site and posted on this, this was actually one of the very first albums I ever checked thanks to Sputnik, and now the guy who wrote this review is gone. I'm just feel heartbroken, I really wish I could've gotten to know you better man, you were a great dude who loved what he did and it was always great just reading your reviews. There have been plenty of awful moments on Sputnik during the time I've been here, but this is by far just the worst.
