Nice review. This is probably my fave Oasis record. In fact, even though I was there to witness their 90's heyday I much prefer the last two offerings over their early stuff, which I find to be clouded in nostalgia and were/are ridiculously over-hyped.



Finally with the last two albums Oasis found their (new) sound it's as if they thought f*** it lets do something a little different now. Like they were not trying to recreate the 90's or what people were expecting from them at last. There is less filler than on the previous two or three records for sure (though I feel 'The boy with the blues' should have also made the track list, a sure fire hit). Such a shame that the band disintegrated after these two fine and IMO overlooked records.

Completely agree, although it doesn't quite hit the heights of my absolute favourite Oasis stuff, it's an underrated gem for sure.
