I would type lyrics to Yellow Submarine in all captials in a very 'humorous fashion' to that comment but I'd get arrested by the
unoriginal comment police, avon.

I'd come to the conclusion that Sgt. Peppers, Revolver, Rubber Soul, Abbey Road (and maaaaaybe the White Album) slaughter every other Beatles' album, but, whadda I know...

"When we start grading albums based on sentiment or influence it represents something that isn't truly the music imo"
Agree on 'influence' but disagree on 'sentiment' - music is a personal thing and if some music has sentimental value for you then i dont see anything bad with uprating it.

"music is a personal thing and if some music has sentimental value for you then i dont see anything bad with uprating it."
Agreed 100%, music is all about sentiments. How else can one listen to music? If it hits you on a personal level that's even better.

“the fact that more then half these songs are contenders for "favorites" speaks for itself” [2]
The review makes a good argument for a 3.5 (and I agree the Beatles are overrated), but . . . Even if you don’t give it points for influence and sentiment, I don’t see this album rated any lower than 4. It’s a solid pop-rock album from beginning to end.
