I just got bored by it, to be completely honest. Which is surprising since I consider Colma and Pike

#13 to be among my favourite albums. Sketches of Spain and the title track are pretty great, and

Mustang is quite good, but the rest just felt like it should be a couple minutes shorter, or in the

case of tracks like Padamansa, be cut in half. Whatever good every track brings to the table gets

outweighed by the plodding nature of its structure and ending fatigue.



Might give it another try sometime soon, but it certainly will never match up to the intimacy and

fragility of Colma, that's for sure.
