"One day, I am going to grow wings" almost serves as a prequel to the line "I used to fly like Peter Pan" in Bones
Which is incidentally the most underrated Radiohead song ever, along with In Limbo
|
| |
Yeah, I don't get why In Limbo is one of the more overlooked tracks on Kid A. It's in the top 5 on there for sure for me.
|
| |
... probably my favourite Radiohead song, that or How To Disappear Completely
|
| |
As a single track, I feel like it captures the theme of Kid A better than most save for How to Disappear and the title track.

Eastern Promises m/
|
| |
I know what you mean, it basically captures all the intricacy and cinema and beautiful paranoia of Radiohead for me
|
| |
HTDC is less detailed, but hits harder emotionally
|
| |
"It takes an insane amount of remove for a human being to pilot a metal crate down a highway, a few degrees away from death at all times. “Airbag” is about that separation being erased and finding yourself in that moment."
This brought tears to my eyes.

Wow thanks.
|

My god I love your reviews, the album is definitely a 5 but I can't help but feel some songs are really lackluster compared to others
eg;
Electioneering
Homesick Alien
The Tourist
Lucky

I'm really not sure how that whole mess works. I've never much looked into it.

There's some sort of application you gotta submit to the mods. Atleast I think, but you would definetly get the job with reviews like this

In the forums it seems to say it just happens. I dunno.
|
| |
Well that's kinda weird, but oh well. Just keep writing like this and you'll make something in no time, incredible review as always.
