im pretty honest with my ratings and planned to change it after the album leaked

that being said, i now think it deserves it: i couldnt find a bland moment in the album

while you may not like the band, their music really appeals to me

Hybrid Earth is really good. But fuck sludge bands are so much heavier, when this band tries to breakdown it ends up so weak, it's a waste

no other metalcore album has ever hit me this hard

It is really hard to tell their songs apart, there are some exceptions- a neat solo or riff here, a less preposterous lyric there but to me it sounds lie one continuous song that we had already heard on the last album.



In many ways I think the overall slickness of the production has hurt it. It lacks character. I'm hoping there is a change of perspective when it comes to their next album as they are clearly very talented but feel very much defined by the zeitgeist.

Metalcore doesn't usually hit me hard per se, but this and Colors really had me engrossed in the musicz

I feel like in a month you'll change your mind. It's tried, trite, and tired.

nah, i dont see this album getting old for fans of erra. they literally took everything we liked and multiplied it tenfold.
