They've managed to top the awful Memphis May Fire cover from last year.

It's an evolution of that cover if you ask me.

>Implying that I wrote this with a serious tone.

Phoenix quintet Blessthefall continue to get steadily heavier on their 4th LP 'Hollow Bodies'. With a greater emphasis on Jared Warth's harsh screams & breakdowns galore, this is more metalcore than post-hardcore... Although, the band haven't entirely foregone delivering catchy choruses. Joey Sturgis' over-production unfortunately relies too much on electronics, while the album does feel repetitive despite the admirable attempts at diversity. 'Hollow Bodies' is competent, but not exactly memorable... Just as importantly, it's not an especially distinctive sound on show here. Recommended Tracks: See You on the Outside, Deja Vu & Open Water.

Blessthefall had a really good track in promised one but when checking out their other stuff I just dont like it.
kinda like other bands, they have good songs but they are let down in these albums by really bad ones.

Well if you shoot for the stars and don't quite get there you'll still end up in space. I think.

I think I need to bump my rating, while this album doesn't break any new ground, it's fun as hell to listen to.

Good, this album needs more love, it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be, just generic.

I honestly don't think Blessthefall is as generic as everyone says they are.

Blown away by the screams but the cleans completely ruin it for me. Exodus is a fine track nonetheless.
