Also, I bet that tomorrow nights concert will be better than probably every rap show I've ever seen. A full band and orchestra! i saw the performance on Letterman and it was killer.

but impressive stuff for a second review

Why is there always remarks about the number of reviews? This guy/gal could have been writing for 20 years somewhere else. It's irrelevant to point out.

This is the biggest drop-off for a rapper since Eminem released "Encore".

It feels like the beats are more tailored to fit a futuristic theme for this record whereas 3030 had beats like "Virus" and "Time Keeps on Slipping" that were not specifically meant to sound futuristic, yet, sound better than anything on this release.

It just feels like he keeps rapping a caricature of himself over and over again.

The beats on this sound so dated... the debut was so original and natural sounding. Del also sounded his best on it.

Del also sounds unbelievably boring and

uninspired here.

This album has been unfairly judged in light of its predecessor. It is a direct sequel after all. Sure it's more Neighbors 2 than Terminator 2 - Del is all over the place, using his speed to cover a lack of content - but it's still a great album full of dope Automator tracks and Del undeniably doing his thing. I'd definitely take it over nothing.

One thing I am bothered about - wasn't Deltron canonically a trio featuring Kid Koala? What's all this talk on the album about Deltron Osiris and Automator being a duo?
