Yes I hesitated a lot before rating So Sincere. I have a love/hate relation with that song. I prefer a lot more the version found on Playing the Fool with its drum & percussion bash. As for Brand X, I think only Unorthodox Behaviour is covered. It's time to change that. Damn it, I give So Sincere a 4.

All GG from Acquiring the Taste to Free Hand are classics. I haven't listened to this fully, but I know "Proclamation" and "Cogs in Cogs" are sweet. I had no idea it was a concept album so thanks for detailing that.

Great review. I agree that this is probably GG's most coherent album. One of their best indeed but I think not one GG album is a true classic.
