I've read somewhere a May 2014 release date (I think it was the Metalsucks interview). I can't wait any longer. I like Jesu but man my balls feel so small listening to this. I need his crusssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhh!
I heard Godflesh have got back together. The band's first album was pretty awesome, so if that's anything to go by then it may just be more interesting than Jesu's output.
Everything by Godflesh destroys the best work by Jesu. Fact!

Lol comparing GODFLESH to jesu, like comparing a destruction crane to an ice-cream truck.
Also read somewhere that Broadrick was considering another Greymachine record with Kevin Martin for a few sax parts, that would be fucking cool!

No one compared Godflesh to Jesu. We talk about Godflesh in a Jesu thread because we know Broadrick is capable of much better.
Also, if he puts out another Greymachine album with Aaron Turner, 2014 will be the best year ever.

As you can see with my rating I'm pretty happy with what Broadrick (and Nicola Manzan who composed a lot of The Great Leveller) did for this record, this is a different project than Godflesh or other and so I don't feel the need to compare two different musical outfits since Broadrick isn't looking for the same thing in both, I know he can do amazing things in heavy music but that has never felt like jesu's purpose. But just like you I excpect the new Godflesh album to be really fuckin' good.

And yeah I'd love a new Greymachine, he was really considering it but in an old interview (he hadn't reformed Godflesh by then I think) and since then no news, damn need to jam disconnected again...

To anyone who claims that distorted and lowtuned riffs can't have emotions, listen to Comforter.
