they were only pop punk in their later era (emo-pop like the movielife, the get up kids, jimmy eat world, fall otu boy, etc) but this album is what they USED TO sound like. it sounds NOTHING like the black parade. i don't get how a song like our lady of sorrows is pop punk, if it is, motley crue is a thrash metal band. i mean like, really, this album is the opposite of pop punk. and pop punk bands don't even scream

you're telling me that our lady of sorrows has upbeat melodies, happy singing and sounds like blink-182? no way. this is NOT pop punk. if you think this is pop punk and that it sounds like good charlotte or blink182, you're deaf. pop punk bands never sounded anything like our lady of sorrows, demolition lovers or anything. this isn't pop punk. and early sunsets is an indie emo song and demolition lovers is a lot like texas is the reason. and our lady of sorrows has a lot hardcore punk influences in it. blink182 is pop punk, sum 41 is, good charlotte is, yellowcard is, motion city is, new found glory is, this isn't.
just listen to this album, there is NOTHING pop punk about it. either you're deaf or you're trolling or you're dumb or you didn't even try the album
