Cheers, mate! I'll check that demo, the name sounds really familiar. I've been a fan of Nights Like These for years, so if it's like them (especially on The Faithless), I know I'll enjoy it.

its pretty much original versions of songs from that album, only with a much more sinister and less polished production. Also, back then the songs had more grindcore styled names, for instance "Memento Mori" was originally called "Eggbeater Abortion". I remember that because either myself or my roomate at the time (can't remember now) came up with it and they liked it so it stuck.

I wouldn't call this deathcore, probably just metalcore.

The lyrics on this are pure cheese but musically it rules.

On second listen, I can definitely see why this would be labeled as deathcore. I think I was thrown off by this actually being awesome, unlike most deathcore I've heard. It's so dense and raw.

Check the narrow scope of things if you haven't already. It's their best

Definitely leans more to the death side of things imo. Either way this album rips

yes! listened to architects of guilt quite a bit back in the day. them and as they sleep were cool. not many death metal bands on solid state. those are the only two i recall.
