yeah, drumming has no personality compared to Ken's, but it's solid enough.
Great review.

The song titles are amazing. Excellent review (as usual), Jac. Pos'd. The closer is probably one of my favorite Carcass tracks.

Drumming here > Drumming on Gorguts. Drumming on Ulcerate > Drumming here.
Colored Sands was way too mechanical. I hate when I can hear trigger clicks in the recording. Vermis is a fucking beast when it comes to it. This sits right in the middle of all 3.

Damn, shame to hear that about the triggs. Here I was getting pumped to hear it (CS)

Good review
Still have never heard a single thing by this band ever, I guess I'll check this out

"Colored Sands was way too mechanical. I hate when I can hear trigger clicks in the recording. Vermis is a fucking beast when it comes to it."
ummm you do realize Jamie also uses triggers right? actually every tech-death band today uses them, they have to in order to get a clearer sound during the fast tempos. and drumming on Colored Sands doesn't sound that mechanical at all wtf
drumming-wise: Vermis > CS > this
