Nah it's not just that, the Rock in Rio version has much more energy too.

And how the hell can you prefer Blaze's voice to Bruce's!? That's just crazy dude.

Lol I know but I also like Bruce's one, and I agree that he is far better live.

RiR version of the clansman has indeed much more energy and that's why I prefer the original (damn he is not singing the trooper, the song is not like that it's just slower with the deep voice of Bayley).

I guess I'm just not too keen on the slower studio version. I think they made it 10 times better by adding more energy and making it slightly faster paced. Not to mention Bruce's superior vocals and the awesome crowd participation during the "FREEDOM!" bit.

From dance of death on bruce's voice is not the same, its quite deteriorated and you cant deny that. I prefer 80's bruce to bayley, but i stay with blaze (who is a great singer) before 00's bruce

00's Bruce is still miles ahead of Blaze. In fact Bruce's voice is in pretty good shape compared to a lot of singers of his age.

Blaze's voice just doesn't suit Maiden at all.

Well written, bud. Always felt this album was a shade underrated myself.
