Production of the vocals kinda puts me off this

I actually think the production enhances the entire experience. They are pushed so far in the mix they create and brooding atmosphere. They sound more like an instrument than "just vocals" to me.
Loving it.

Not a duff moment on this album (aside from maybe Adjuration but hell, I can ignore that). L'Antique Blason, Réminiscence and Chant des Martyres in particular are amazing.

Atmospheres on this album are absolute top notch. And RE: vocals, I tend to love slightly reverby vox that are set slightly in the background so for me this is perfect. Might get a bump soon.

Probably one of my favourite slabs of BM to come out recently. It's just so damn gorgeous. Even the intro feels like it belongs, and that's comparatively rare.
