I don't know if anyone will ever read this, but the author of this review was my cousin. When I first decided as a young twenty-something that Korn was not enjoyable and that there must be better sounds out there, I came upon Sputnik and sent various reviews to friends that I resonated with. If memory serves, he enjoyed a review of Mushuggah's Koloss and decided to try his hand at a few reviews of his own. I enjoyed reading his reviews, his ability to write something longer than the finished product and pare it down to a cohesive short piece.
He died nearly a year and a half ago. A car accident. In the recess of my mind some memory sparked that reminded me of his Wheel review on this very website. I passed it on to friends and family, and then decided I wanted to leave a comment here in his memory. I'm glad that it's still here, ten years later. Thank you, Sputnik, and thank you to those who read his reviews.
