Prefer the other cover than the self titled and waking the fallen. Album is just an imitation of
metallica, maiden and guns n roses works with nothing new to add. Is not the worst thing, just
forgettable. The extra ,5 is because in the last part there are some cool solos.

Great album, I don't get why all this hate is coming about, it's something new and something they want to try. I think it's a great sound, their best album? No. But certainly a great one and I'm proud to say I'll be in the CD store picking up a copy on the release date. I think a lot of people hear that they're going for an old school sound and immediately think they're going to put out something that mirrors a band from that era or they just want a Nightmare like sound. They can't be happy with old school sound and Avenged spin on it. I don't know, say what you will, great record, great band with some amazing talent. Hate them if you will but they're going to be the next Metallica, or this generations leader of hard rock and metal music.

Metal Hammer literally said "Hail to the King is a beast of a record, vast, ambitious and magisterial. It is unquestionably Avenged Sevenfold's masterpiece. Metallica, your heirs have finally arrived."

lol, I saw a comment from NightmareC... on the home page and expected it to be something like NightmareCityOfEvil96 and be a wall of text about why the review sucks and why the album is actually a 5

You can't expect much from magazines like metal hammer and kerrang which praises BVB and AA. A7X have
enjoyable tunes and some their past albums were very decent, sadly this album is not and a lot of
songs contained here are boring, like 4 tracks here are ok, the rest are just boring carbon copies of
songs made by 80's and 90's hard rock and metal acts
